For customers who have introduced Akamai CDN services, we provide security services tailored to requests from each customer. Akamai has one of the world’s largest delivery networks, equipped with a shield structured to protect data. Our round-the-clock monitoring allows for the collection and analysis of terabytes of attack data, billions of bot requests and hundreds of millions of IP addresses, to strengthen data protection and ensure the latest information is always provided. We continue to innovate to stay ahead of the latest threats, including malware, phishing, data theft, DDoS and other advanced attacks. Cloud WAF sophisticated Akamai KSD (Kona Site Defender): This is an archetypal web security solution service. With WAF (Web Application Firewall) and protection against DDoS attacks, we provide advanced protection to websites and web services against all kinds of ever evolving attacks. Even during a large-scale attack, the entire application can be kept secure at the same level.

Cloud WAF simplified Akamai WAP (Web Application Protector): This simple, strong web security solution integrates automated WAF and features that protect against DDoS attacks. Hundreds of Akamai security experts and the latest algorithms for machine learning perform analyses to continually update protection. While reducing cost and necessary labor beyond what conventional solutions are capable of, Akamai WAP protects customers’ websites and web services and enhances performance.

Round-the-clock BBSec MSS (Managed Security Service): On behalf of our customers using our security products, our integrated security management service utilizes SOCs to monitor unauthorized access and attacks around the clock, taking proper measures in the event of an incident. In addition, it is a comprehensive security service which provides analysis and consulting services on the basis of data collected through traffic monitoring. The MSS further reduces operations burdens of customers and maximizes the effects of security measures.

Akamai Prolexic Routed: Akamai Prolexic Routed provides a cushion against DDoS attacks on the cloud, blocking the largest attacks before they arrive at a customer’s application or data center, and protects all web- and IP-based applications from the threat of large-scale DDoS attacks.

Akamai Edge DNS: The robust DNS service is cloud-based and decentralized. The DNS can be extended to the edge while enabling availability, performance and fault tolerance against DDoS attacks to be enhanced.

Akamai EAA（Enterprise Application Access）: This next-generation access service enables business enterprises to connect their staff to their applications safely at high speeds, through Akamai’s service infrastructure on the Internet. Due to costs and the complex management necessary, conventional VPNs have been abolished in favor of Akamai EAA, which involves a cloud defense line designed on the Zero Trust Security model limiting permissions to only the necessary applications for each user and terminal. The cloud defense line solves, all at once, the problems of resource management, dispersed by the increase of multi-cloud systems and remote workers, and cybersecurity risks.

Akamai ETP （Enterprise Threat Protector）: This is a secure Internet gateway to identify, block and ease targeted threats such as malware, ransomware, phishing attempts, DNS data theft and advanced zero-day attacks before they occur.
